Jwaneng is a tiny mining town situated to the South-east of Botswana. It is full of different cultures but has a very Victorian English feel to it. Visitors enjoy riding in 4x4 LDVs and driving through the bush looking for wildlife.

In groups, it is safe to camp out in the bush at night, as one may not encounter another human for days. Don't miss this site if you enjoy the outdoors.


From Johannesburg, follow the road to Mafikeng and continue to the Botswana border. Jwaneng is located about an hour south of the border.
