About
Sao Luis is famous for many historical buildings around the town. It is coined as the “Tiles City” for having eccentric 3500 designed buildings. These astonishing relics are being protected by the government with the help of the local people.
São Luís is also known as "capital of reggae" in Brazil. In no other Brazilian city is this Jamaican rhythm so commonly found; many bars and dance clubs play reggae. That you’ll surely enjoy!
It's best to visit Sao Luis during the months of February to June as the rest of the year is rainy.
Being a UNESCO preserved town, your stay in Sao Luis will definitely be worth remembering.
