Stanley Park, British Columbia

About
Stanley Park is to Vancouver as Central Park is to New York. That is, it's the giant expanse of green used to satisfy an entire city's need for nature. You've got joggers, dogs, lily ponds, gardens, and even a trolley that runs through. It's a big park (remember it's for the entire city), so it may be a good idea to rent a bike rather than walk its perimeter. It's unique in that it's bordered by water on most sides.
At the far end of the park is the Lion's Gate Bridge, Vancouver's green answer to the Golden Gate.
How to get there

trolley
Accessible if you drive across the Lion's Gate Bridge from Whisper, or also by car/walk from central Vancouver. Plenty of parking lots within the park along with trolley service.
