Playa Del Coco, Costa Rica

This beach is near the border od Costa Rica and Nicaragua, Just a few miles away, so it's a great idea to spend the night there if you are going between the 2 countries. There not much there, just a beach, the sun and the people who are very friendly.

The accommodations and the food is inexpensive and the some of the thing you can do there is relax, swim and some other water sports on some locations nearby.

You can also go shopping for souvenirs.

The weather is not like most of Costa Rica's town, but very tropical, excellent of a beach day, to get yourself tanned and go on a horseback ride.


To get there you have to take the Panamerican High way and turn right going from Nicaragua to Costa Rica just around Liberia. You will see the sign and then go straight to the beach town, If you get lost you can ask the locals as they will indicate you the right direction.
