Sainte Chapelle

Sainte Chapelle contains some of the most beautiful stained glass in a cathedral, hailed as a "gateway to heaven" during the Middle Ages. The chapel was originally built to hold the Crown of Thorns.

The stained glass are the highlights, depicting over 1000 scenes from the Old and New Testaments. You will also find the circular Rose Window, telling the story of the Apocalypse.

The chapel is centrally located near Notre Dame, the Jardin Des Tuileries, and The Louvre. So stop by for a visit.

How to get there

Open 9:30am to 6:30pm.
Admissions is 11 Euros.

Take the metro to Cite station.
