Ocean Park

About

Ocean Park is a large theme park in about 20 minutes south of Central Hong Kong, reachable by bus. A recent renovation expanded the park, now separated into two campuses connected by a rope way.

Ocean Park has some standard roller coasters, and the park can get very crowded fast. Adults may find some interest in an aquarium with manta rays, turtles, and jellyfish. They also have very long escalators as part of an attraction, and also useful for transportation.

The park also includes a small zoo area where you can see their 2 pandas, along with the cute lesser red panda.

Ocean Park also has some shows, but timing it may be difficult since you will be either on one side of the campus or the other.

This park may be best combined with a visit to the markets of Stanley village or the seafront at Aberdeen harbor, both of which are near the area.

How to get there
