Delhi is the capital of India and a major corporate hub. Delhi is known for its cultural heritage and values. People from all over India visit Delhi for two motives: job and tourism. There are many places in Delhi travelers can visit like the India gate, Qutub minar, Old fort, chandni chowk and many other cultural places. The Commonwealth Games (2010) are going to be held in Delhi very soon, and that's why huge numbers of tourists are expected. The government is improving infrastructure and other facilities for the convenience of travelers.

The Metro rail is the biggest attraction for tourists, why? Because it was not easy to construct this project in the middle of the city but it was completed successfully in the end.

Delhi people are very warm to foreign tourists and their security is of prime concern for the government of India. Tourists can visit Pragati maidan for cultural shows and other shows like auto expo, book shows and other major events round the year. If you like shopping, Cannaught Place is the best option for you. You will find each and everything in Cannaught Place from cloths, bank ATMs, food courts, game parlors, movie houses and all other things of your interests.

The best time to visit Delhi is between October and March. You will not be comfortable in Delhi summers, which are very hot, and the winters that are very cold. Hotels are easily available in Delhi in the range of $4 to $600; everyone can afford one in their range. Travelers can visit chandni chowk for some delicious and spicy food and at very reasonable rates.

Delhi is well connected with all the major airports of the world. Ask your travel agent for a direct flight to Delhi. Delhi is also connected through public transport like buses, trains, autos and taxis. Every place is easily accessible and fares are not high as well. If you have your own vehicle then you may face parking problems in Delhi otherwise Delhi would be a far better experience for you to remember.
