Agonda beach is 20 minutes from the famous Palolem beach which is great for a party and shopping, but a bit to noisy to stay at if you are planning a chilled out holiday by a quite beach.

There are several resorts on Agonda beach with basic huts all the way to luxury cottages. The beach is approximately 2km long making for a lot of space between people.

Its also a great place to build a tan before visiting the busy neighbouring beaches.

How to get there

Agonda can be reached by a taxi from the airport for around Rs.1000 or by a tuk tuk from Palolem for Rs.150. The nearest train station is Chaudi (canacona).
