Major Attractions in Mussoorie
Gun Hill- During midday a gun was fired to enable local people to adjust their watches. That is the reason it was named Gun Hill. It is now connected with ropeway from Mall road to Gunhill. GunHill offers panoramic view of snow-clad Himalayan range include Bandar pooch, Sri Kata, Pithwara and Gangotri.
Sir George Everest’s House- it is at walking distance from library also known as park estate. Mount Everest name is after his name Sir George Everest.
Municipal Garden- It is a picnic spot with an artificial lake, you can enjoy boating and it can be reached with the help of hand pulled rickshaws and taxis.
Yamuna Bridge- it is some 27 km away from Mussoorie and an ideal spot for fishing.
Jharipani Fall - 8.5 kms from Mussoorie on Mussoorie- Jharipani Road. Visitors can go by bus or by car upto 7 kms to Jharipani from where the fall is 1.5 kms, on foot.
Kempty Fall - 15 kms from Mussoorie on the Yamunotri Road having an altitude of 4500 ft. It has the distinction of being the biggest and prettiest waterfall located in a beautiful valley and is surrounded by high mountains. Bath at the foot of the falls is refreshing and enjoyable for children and adults alike.
Nag Devta Temple - An ancient temple situated on Cart Mackenjie Road and is about 6 kms from Mussoorie. Vehicles can go right up to the spot. It Provides a charming view of Doon Valley as well as of Mussoorie.
Bhatta Fall - 7 kms from Mussoorie on Mussoorie-Dehradun road. Access by car or bus up to Balta village from where the fall is 3kms by car or foot. An ideal spot for bathing and picnics.

Road-very well connected with roads. From delhi you can have direct bus to Mussoorie and from Dehradun you cancatch u with frequent taxis as well.
Train- You can catch a train from delhi to dehradun and then you can opt for the above options
