Trajan's Markets
About
A large series of ruins, Trajan's Markets was originally considered one of the wonders of the Classical World. The ruins were built by architect Apollodorus of Damascus, and was a place for selling oil, wines, spices, fresh fish, fruit, and vegetables.
Dominating the ruins today is Trajan's Column, depicting detailed scenes of Emperor Trajan's campaigns in Dacia.

The ruins are in walking distance of The Forum and Coliseo. You can also take bus lines 64, 70, 170, 640, or others.
