About
ZED is one of two resident Cirque du Soleil shows outside of the United States (the other one is ZAIA in Macau).
Review of ZED
You'll be amazed at the performers, some of who are really artistic and fun to watch. Although the show can be a little pricey, at 9800 yen. The costumes are elaborate and the show is really colorful. None of the music is really memorable, but it's not bad either. Overall you'll have a blast.
Some of the highlights:
-A really good baton twirler guy. It may seem strange that a simple baton twirler can be so impressive, but this guy stole the show. He was twirling it on his neck too. Easily, the funnest and most impressive demonstration.
-Lasso gymnasts. A team of gymnasts twirl ropes into lassos, and others cartwheel through them. This was also very memorable.
-Jugglers. Very very skilled juggling, and very artistic. You've never seen juggling like this -- they will do it diagonally.
-Human pyramid guys
-A white moth lady who can sing pretty well.
-An iron globe that can open up into a flying trapeze set.
-Tightrope walkers
The world of the Arcana, in which ZED finds his inspiration, teams with life and vibrant characters, including the Great Goddess, The Fool, The Sphinxes and the Satyrs – all engaged in a lyrical odyssey at the heart of human experience.

How to get there
If you are in Japan, you can find any Familymart convenience store (there should be many) around Tokyo. They are blue and white colored. Inside are electronic machines where you can purchase ZED tickets -- ask the clerk to help you if you can't read. (Just say "I want ZED ticket.") Almost all of the seats are pretty good -- the theatre is quite small. But try to get one in the middle if you can. You can browse the machine by day and time, and find the seats available. Seats numbered 40-130 are considered in the middle.
To get to the theatre, take the JR line to Maihama. Then follow the signs to Ikspiari shopping center, from which you can find signs to the ZED theatre.
