A grand interior

The Venetian Macao Resort is just one of the many ostentatious resorts found on this Las Vegas style island. Other large resorts include The Sands, Wynn, MGM Grand, and more.

The Venetian is a 40 story luxury hotel and casino, modeled after the Las Vegas version of the Venetian. It is the single largest hotel in Asia, and the fourth largest building in the world by area.

The hotel is relatively new, finished in July 2007 and opening in August 28 2007. With 3000 suites and 550,000 square feet of casino space (largest in the world), the Venetian is grand.

The hotel itself is modeled after areas found in Venice, Italy, complete with fake in-door canals, gondolas, Piazza San Marco clocktower imitation, and Bridge of Sighs.

Cirque du Soleil has a permanent show, Zaia, playing at the Venetian.


Free shuttles will take you directly to the hotel from the Ferry station.
