1. Makam Mahsuri - tells a famous legend of a woman accused of adultery and then sentenced to death. When she was stabbed, white blood were bled as a sign of purity and innocence. To date, a full story is displayed at her tomb in Kampung Mawat. You can visit this place from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
2. Underwater World - a one of a kind marine aquarium which houses 5,000 types of marine life and other mammal and reptile species. There is also an available 3-D theatre that showcases marine life documentaries for visitors. Underwater World is open everyday from 10am-6pm.
3. Eagle Square - is the giant red eagle statue at Kuah Jetty which serves as a mini park filled with scenic ponds, bridges, covered terraces and restaurants. This place is perfect for family and friends to unwind and tell stories while enjoying the sea breeze.
4. Crocodile Farm - there are 3,000 crocodiles ready to amaze you, just be very careful not to dive in the pens or else you will be an instant delight to them!. The crocodile farm is located in Datai Bay 30 km away from Kuah. Visitors can come everyday and enjoy the show at 11:15 and 14:45pm while crocs are fed at 10:30am.
5. Laman Padi - or known as the Rice Garden serves as a learning tool for every visitor on how to cultivate rice and harvest them. This is minutes away from Langkawi airport and a good way to treat the kids for a different adventure.
6. Ibrahim Hussein Museum and Cultural Foundation - named after Datuk Ibrahim Hussein. This museum displays the former Datuk's artworks and other eccentric pieces from Southeast Asian artists.
