About
There are hundreds of shops, many selling quality fashion apparels. There is quite a number of small stalls selling handphones. A few of the most established photographic equipment shops in KL. And if you look hard enough, a few shops selling cheap pirated Playstion, XBox & Wii games.
The density of shops here gives it a unique shopping atmosphere that no other newer malls have managed to duplicate. For decades, it still remains the most popular place to shop for tourists and locals alike.
And when you get hungry, take the escalators to the very top floor, at the carpark level. This is the 'hidden' food court that sells cheap affordable meals to the salespersons and office workers in the surrounding buildings. It's clean, cheap, and excellent variety.
How to get there
The KL Monorail also stops directly in front of Sungei Wang.
There's a taxi stand directly outside as well.
The roads coming and going from this plaza is often congested during the day, weekday and weekends. If coming by car, it's preferable to come early, between 10am and 11am to beat the traffic.
