Bangsar

Bangsar is an upscale residential area to the west of Kuala Lumpur city centre. There are many large bungalows and top end condominiums here.

But when many say Bangsar, they refer to the watering hole around Jalan Tempinis. This is a popular nightspot with many pubs and discos, amongst which is Finnegan's, the most well regarded Irish pub in Klang Valley.

There are also two shopping malls in the area. Bangsar Village, and Bangsar Shopping Centre. They have expensive eats that's more popular with the yuppie crowds.


Take a cab. It's not accessible via other modes of public transportation.

There is a Bangsar Light Rail Transit Station, but this is still a significant distance away from where the action is.
