Let me cut to the chase. It costs 10 euro to get through the front doors. And then more inside. But hey James Bond was filmed here, and it's the most famous casino in the world. How can you NOT go?

I personally enjoyed standing in front of the casino and watching other tourists gape at the fancy cars driving by. You know, some people don't have Ferraris in their towns.


Monte Carlo is a part of Monaco, and located on a hill. When you take the cheapo public bus from Nice, make sure you get off at Monte Carlo/Casino as opposed to the downtown district of Monaco. As the bus doesn't make announcements, familiarize yourself w/the general topography of the area.
