This island in northern Panama features crystal clear waters, coral reefs, lush vegetation, and is home to about 300 inhabitants. The island has many places to eat local Caribbean food. It's a great place to spend the weekend, offering basic but comfortable cabanas (cabins) to stay in and restaurants.


Isla Grande is a 5 min boat ride from La Guaira.

To get to La Guaira, drive from Colon to Portobelo on the Transistmic Highway. From there, follow the road until you get to La Guaira.
