About
Madang is a beautiful, laid back town in Papua New Guinea offering local markets selling fresh fruits and plants. Visitors can scuba-dive among the coral reefs and barracudas, see World War II aircraft wrecks, and enjoy sumptuous local cuisine.

How to get there
From Port Moresby (Papua New Guina capitol), take an Air Niugini flight directly to Madang. There are two flights daily, though often delayed. There are flights deparing to Port Moresby from Tokyo, Singapore, Cairns (Australia), Sydney and Brisbane.
Although there are no taxis from the airport, there are frequent transports offered by the resorts. Watch out for bumpy roads.
