Aguinaldo Shrine is the site of the proclamation of Philippine Independence headed by the first president of the Philippine Republic and revolution leader against America and Spain, General Emilio Aguinaldo on June 12, 1898.
There are field trips organised by schools and other travel agency everyday. If you wish to pay a visit in Aguinaldo Shrine, you can take a bus from Manila going to Cavite City. Just tell the conductor of the bus to drop you off to Aguinaldo Shrine and wallah you're there in less than an hour from Baclaran. Bus ticket is P35/pax.
After a visit to Aguinaldo Shrine, you can have a walk to the famous Mary Magdalene Church. This church is one of the oldest churches in the country and known for being holy and visited by many Catholic devotees.
