The town of the braves, that's what Kawit, Cavite is. Home to 77,000 Kawitenos and the town where the national independence was proclaimed.

There are 3 places that you can visit when you go to Kawit, Cavite.

First, you can see the famous Aguinaldo Shrine where General Emilio Aguinaldo proclaimed the Philippine Independence of June 12, 1898.

Second, you can visit Mary Magdalene Church which is the patron saint of Kawit.

Third, you can unwind and have fun with your family and loved ones at Island Cove Resort. This leisure park offers more than just a weekend get away from the busy life in the city. You can sing with your friends, swim on the pool, go fishing, party and listen to the live band at night and have a relaxing massage after a delicious meal at their restaurant. How to get there

Take a bus going to Cavite City from Baclaran. From Island Cove it will be 5 mins away to reach Aguinaldo Shrine and another 2 mins going to St. Mary Magdalene Church.

From Baclaran fare is P35 and P7 as minimum fare if you ride a jeep within Kawit.
