During high tide, the evidence that the sand bar is there is the lighter color in the water - greenish white - among the usual blue waters. When the tide is low, the sand bar can be seen in almost its entirety - depending on the level of the tide.
High tides: most part of the sand bar is at the same height as people, or even deeper.
Low tides: 90% of the sand bar is over the water.
Middle tides: The water is about chest deep or waist deep but about 1 to 5% of dry land can be seen.
The islet is popular in that the white sands are the ideal place to swim or simply sun bathe.
There are 4 large cottages on the island, powered by solar energy. Potable water is also available.
Tip: Tourists should bring lots and lots of sunscreen. Swimming gear should also be brought - the experience will not be complete without swimming in the area. There is no use snorkeling here are the are around is just full of sand.
