About

This narrow strip of sand is located just between the waters of Bais City and the town on Manjuyod. The place is a popular tourist destination as a side trip from the Dolphin watching activity done in the waters of Bais.

During high tide, the evidence that the sand bar is there is the lighter color in the water - greenish white - among the usual blue waters. When the tide is low, the sand bar can be seen in almost its entirety - depending on the level of the tide.

High tides: most part of the sand bar is at the same height as people, or even deeper.

Low tides: 90% of the sand bar is over the water.

Middle tides: The water is about chest deep or waist deep but about 1 to 5% of dry land can be seen.

The islet is popular in that the white sands are the ideal place to swim or simply sun bathe.

There are 4 large cottages on the island, powered by solar energy. Potable water is also available.

Tip: Tourists should bring lots and lots of sunscreen. Swimming gear should also be brought - the experience will not be complete without swimming in the area. There is no use snorkeling here are the are around is just full of sand.
