About

Known as the “The Last Frontier”, Honda Bay has some of the most beautiful untouched beaches among the country’s 7,107 islands. Pristine white sand shores surrounded by clear blue waters make this a tropical paradise. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, as well as diving among the islets that are surrounded by shallow reefs abundant with marine life.

Island Hopping
Snake Island is long and winding like a snake – it is an amazing contrast of a tropical beach on one side and mangrove forest on the other. Cowrie and Bat Islands are named after the large fruit bats that emerge at nightfall. Lu-Li Island is so-called because it disappears completely then reappears during low tide (“lulubog-lilitaw” in the local vernacular). There are several other interesting islands and sandbars including Starfish, Canon, Pandan, Senorita, and Meara Marina.

Arreceffi Island contains the world-class Dos Palmas Island Resort & Spa. It is the most developed area in this group of islands, but still secluded in the beauty of nature. It offers a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Luxurious accommodations (Bay Cottages or Beach Villas) as well as day trips are available.

How to get there

Honda Bay is found northeast of Puerto Princesa, the capital of Palawan.

By boat
From Sta. Lourdes Wharf, visitors can take a pump boat or outrigger banca to visit the various islands. The boat ride could take 15 up to 50 minutes depending on the island.

By air
The main island Puerto Princesa has a domestic airport with direct flights from Manila and Cebu that take about an hour.
