About
The prices are unbelievably cheap yet you can still haggle lower. Best time to go as soon as they open (10am), when the sellers are determined to make their first sale (“buena mano”) believing this will bring them luck for the rest of the day. Grab the biggest discounts and don’t be surprised if they “bless” the rest of their goods with your cash afterwards.
For less than US$10, you can have any of these: a genuine freshwater pearl set, a handful of DVDs (pirated though), or some knockoffs like a Lacoste T-shirt, a pair of Converse chucks, or an LV bag.
Aside from fab bargains, Greenhills also has great dining and entertainment options. The local favorite is hole-in-the-wall Luk Yuen that has the best spareribs rice in town but there are also mid-ranged restaurants on The Promenade side. Greenhills is also one of Manila’s active nightspots with its booming bar scene. You can have a night of videoke at World Music One or drink away at Chivz, Chili’s, or several other bars in the area.
How to get there
Store Hours: 10 am to about 7 or 8pm. Night bazaars are held during the Christmas season. Restaurants and bars open until late.
