About
Its two main tourist areas, White Beach and Bulabog Beach, are on opposite sides of the island’s narrow central area. A banca (outrigger boat) ride can bring you around the entire island, including the more secluded beaches.
The island has more than 350 beach resorts to choose from, ranging from budget to luxury accommodations. First-class amenities are found at Discovery Shores or the new Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa.
Boracay offers a wide variety of activities on and off its beautiful shores:
Water Fun – Have your fill of swimming, snorkeling, diving, windsurfing, kiteboarding, wakeboarding, jetskiing, kayaking, sailing, parasailing, and banana-boat riding.
Beach Sports – Enjoy volleyball, wall climbing, tennis, golf, biking, trekking, and horseback riding.
Nature Tripping - Explore the Bat Caves or watch the sunset onboard a “paraw.”
Relaxation - Treat yourself to a massage and banana-peanut shake on the sun-kissed beach. Or splurge at the Mandala Spa.
Shopping – D’Mall has a host of shops with fashionable beachwear, trinkets, and other souvenirs.
Dining – Aside from the sumptuous buffets in various hotels and resorts, discover gourmet cuisine at Cyma (Greek) or Aria (Italian). Better – and cheaper – yet, take up the natives’ offer of fresh seafood catch grilled right on the beach for a perfect picnic.
Nightlife - Go party-hopping along the length of White Beach with its numerous bars. Dance barefoot on the sand!
How to get there
