About
Changi is an estate that is located at the easternmost end of Singapore. The estate has interesting landmarks including Changi Village, Changi Prison and Changi International Airport with Changi Point at the heart of the Changi area. Changi's name is derived from the Chengai, a tall tree that used to grow in the district. It serves as a popular beach and picnicking area for the locals.
How to get there

Changi Village
Changi Beach Park is served by SBS Transit bus services 9, 19 and 89 at several bus stops along its length. By taking these buses, visitors can alight along Nicoll Drive.
Visitors can also take bus services 2, 29, 59 and 109 to Changi Village and 5 minutes of walk across the pedestrian footbridge to the park. Visitors can also alight at Changi Village Bus Terminal located near Changi Beach Park.
