Pattaya is a famous beach destination some 150km south east of Bangkok prominent for its energetic life, bars, and night life.

Couples can enjoy a relaxing afternoon on Pattaya Beach or Jomtien. There are also island-hopping opportunities as well. Besides beaches, other attractions include shopping, elephant riding, bungee jumping, motor sports, diving and night life.

Pattaya has a tropical wet and dry climate, which is divided into the following seasons: warm and dry (November to February), hot and humid (March to May), and hot and rainy (June to October). It is best to go visit Pattaya during the months of March to June.


To get to Pattaya, you can choose from the following means of transportation.

Train – leaves once a day from Hualumphong Station in Bangkok.

Bus – there are frequent bus trips from Northern Bangkok Bus Terminal.
