For many centuries, Ayutthaya served as the capital kingdom of Thailand. To date, many visitors are fascinated by the town's splendor. The stunning temples that reflects Thai's religious philosophy are still standing in glory despite of many obstacles.

Elephants and many many more elephants are what makes me remember how special Ayutthaya, Thailand is.

Ayutthaya is located about 90 kilometers from Bangkok, and could be visited on an extended daytrip. However, if you are interested in Thai history and ancient monuments, an overnight stay with about two full days of sightseeing is recommended.


How to get there

A trip to Ayutthaya could be arranged by a travel agency located near you or you can ride a bus from Bangkok which departs daily.
