Nassau is the largest city and capital of the Bahamas. The tropical climate makes the island attractive to sun-lovers. Because of its natural beauty, Nassau is a popular tourist destination with a reputation for relaxing and exciting nightlife.

Nassau is the perfect place for dining and exploring mouth-watering chow in the Bahamas. Try the Bahamian style breakfast that consists of boiled fish and grits or choose from their wide array of seafood specialties like crabs, conch, groupers, red snappers and yellow tails. If you will visit a restaurant in Nassau, it is normal for them to serve delicious steamed fish with baked macaroni and cheese followed desserts like coconut or pineapple tart.

In the town, they celebrate Junkanoo. It is a colourful festival that happens every Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and during summer time.

Be ready to splurge when you come to Nassau. The food and nightlife will surely cost a little you but all in all it’s a good adventure to remember.


Lynden Pindling International Airport has daily flights from London, the Caribbean. Around the town there are taxis and buses. All you need is your map and off you will definitely enjoy Nassau.
