Waikiki Beach

About

Waikiki is a world-famous beach dotted with vibrant dining, shopping, and hotels on Kalakaua Avenue.

The beach was at one time reserved only for Hawaiian royalty use. It is now a popular tourist spot for sunbathers and long-boarders. A magnificent view of Diamond Peak can be seen from the shores.

Surfing lessons and rentals are offered at the beach. Take an afternoon out and learning to surf can be fun.

For internet savvy users, the Westin Surfrider Hotel (a very big and nice one on the beach) has free wifi access on the beachside porch. Check your email as you watch the surfers.
