Rowlett, although compact in size and populace, offers an impressive array of eateries and attractions not found elsewhere.

While in the area, visit Southern Junction, offering amazing steaks and decent c&w dancing, El Ranchero, a local South Mexico/South American restaurant near 66 and Rowlett Road, and a lively city theatre featuring an array of actors from several different cities, including Rowlett (called A.C.T.O.R.S.).

Just across the city line in Garland is Firewheel Shopping Center, offering many shopping delights including Barnes & Nobles, Dillard's, Macy's, and a Buckle store.


Rowlett is easily accessible by I-30, Centerville Road, Highway 66, or Rowlett Road.

Alternatively, DART has a route to Rowlett as well.
