Owen Beach

This little stretch of sand is located in the scenic Five Mile Drive in Tacoma, Washington. Large eating grills make the beach perfect for social events. Kayaks and canoes can also be rented at reasonable rates.

A little way down the beach is an interesting site of natural clay formations on the ground and walls. Visitors are sure to discover many entertainments and hidden treasures making Owen Beach a fabulous vacation spot.


Follow North Pearl St to Roberts Ga Road, which leads straight into the Five Mile Drive Entrance. The beach is just ahead of the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium.
