The Space Needle is the official landmark of Seattle built for the 1962 World Fair. It stands at 184 meters and features and observation deck offering superb views of downtown Seattle.

The tower is located in the Seattle Center, an arts and entertainment hub including the Experience Music Project museum, a science fiction museum, and more.


How to get there

Admission: The Space Needle is $13 for adults.

305 Harrison Street
Seattle, WA 98109

From I-5, take the following route:
* Take the Mercer Street/Seattle Center exit (exit 167).
* At the first traffic light, turn right onto Fairview.
* At the next light, turn left onto Broad Street.
* Turn right onto 5th Ave.
* Turn left on to Roy Street (one way street).
