The cinema center of London is Leicester Square. You will find huge movie theaters here, crowds of teenagers, as well as cheap tickets to musicals.

Indeed, London is known for its wide array of musicals, and your trip to London should include an evening at a musical. The tickets can be bought cheaply here for same-day shows, often at 50% discount. Look for the official "TKTS" building -- you will find many fraudulent shops selling tickets claiming to be "official," but buy these at your own risk. Go in the morning at around 10am. There are some good shows here like Les MIserables (which I saw and was absolutely wonderful), or there are other shows like Hairspray and Lion King.

Leicester Square is right next to Covent Garden and Chinatown, so be sure to give those two areas a look too while you're here!
