London Eye
About
The largest Ferris wheel in Europe, and also one of the most popular attractions at over 3 million visitors a year. The size of the wheel is surpassed only by the Star of Nanchang and the
Singapore Flyer.
The London Eye is also known as the Millennium Wheel, and sits adjacent to the Thames River and
Parliament / Big Ben. You'll get some great views of the city for sure, although prices are a little high.
How to get there
Open 10am to 9pm daily. Take the tube to Waterloo station (or Embankment, Charing Cross, or Westminster). Tickets cost 17 pounds, although you can buy combination tickets for the London Eye with other tourist destinations at a discount. See the official site for more information.
