About
The Anglican cathedral was built in the 17th century, with an enormous painted dome ceiling. Visitors can actually go up to the dome, where it is known as the "whispering gallery" because supposedly, you can whisper into one of the holes at one edge of the dome and someone on the opposite edge can hear you. You will see tourists doing this undoubtedly :)
The interior of the cathedral itself is elaborate, and probably one of the most intricate in the area. I think it St. Paul's is more interesting than Westminster Abbey even.
This place is definitely worth a visit. Consider combining your visit with a trip to the Tate Modern across the Millennium Bridge.
