About

St. Peter's is one of the most sacred basilicas in the world. Commissioned by Constantine, the tomb was created by the greatest artists of the time from Berini to Michelangelo. St. Peter's has the largest interior of any Christian church in the world, holding 60,000 people.

The elaborate 137-m dome was designed by Michelangelo. You will also see Michelangelo's masterpiece sculpture Pieta, a depiction of the Jesus on the lap of Mother Mary.

The halls and interior are majestic to behold.
